Before going to London...

Here are a few pictures to give you an idea of the trip we’re going to take in May. I went to check the “Victoria revealed” Exhibition at Kensington Palace. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did. You can see a sculpture of Queen Vic, which is at the entrance of the Palace. It was actually sculpted by her daughter, Princess Louise, who was an artist and a bit of a bohemian.

You will see the portrait of Victoria when we get there. The little Victorian dolls represent Queen Ann and her 18 children. This was taken at the museum of childhood, which we may pop into briefly if we have time on the last day. Anyway, Queen Ann is one of the key Kensington characters, and you will hear about her during our visit.
